Static-X
Static-X

Static-X just poped up on the spot about a year ago . I found out about them on the soundtrack of "Bride of Chucky" which featured other bands like Powerman 5000, White Zombie, Slayer and other heavy metal bands. They think of their music as "evil disco" I don't agree though they do have a synthysizer they still have a heavy setting I can only think of two songs on the record that really blow. If you like KoRn, Rammstein, or Rob Zombie you will like them too.

Equipment

Wayne Static (vocals, guitar) is equiped with a Gibson Gothic Flying V with Seymour Duncan distortion pickup's, and he uses Marshall amps.
Koichi Eukuda (guitar, synthisizer) uses a custom made Ibanez based on the RG model with one humbucker, and one volume control, and a tube amp made by VHT. Both of them use the simple is better, less is more method. When they combind it creates a thick blend of distortion, and low end.
